Company Overview

Leigh Creek Energy Limited (LCK) is an emerging gas company focussed on developing its Leigh Creek Energy Project (LCEP), located in South Australia.

On 27 May 2015 shareholders voted in favour of the acquisition of ARP TriEnergy Pty Ltd (TriE) which became a wholly owned subsidiary of LCK. TriE owns the LCEP.

Sustainability

The board and management team has been strengthened and the company re-listed on 3 July 2015.

Leigh Creek Energy is aware of its environmental and social responsibilities as a responsible corporate citizen and we choose to operate in areas where appropriate licensing and monitoring is undertaken by government and regulators.

Shareholders approved the name change on 28 August 2015.

We recognise that our social license to operate depends from the outset on maintaining an environmental and social balance that is as close to original as practicable.

Gas marketing has been underway for some time and soon appraisal drilling will occur at the LCEP, ahead of gas reserve certification.

We operate in conjunction with Government, land owners and local communities, and through this consultation, work to achieve beneficial outcomes for all parties.

Stakeholder engagement efforts are also ramping up across a range of areas.

Our aim is to build the LCEP to deliver gas to customers across eastern Australia as well as build an adjoined fertiliser plant to replace 100% imported supply to South Australian farmers.
